General information

  • The start will be given at 13:00 from the banks of the Centre d'Accueil de la Plate Taille at Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure.
  • The deposit of the bike and the equipment in the transition park will be done exclusively on the day of the race between 12:00 and 12:45.
  • DISTANCES : 50m – 1km – 500m
  • Minimum age: 6 to 9 years old during the current year.
  • The withdrawal of race numbers can only be done by the athlete himself in the presence of his legal guardian
  • The number of bibs is limited to 50.

2:00-8:00 pm: Opening of the Openlakes village
2:00-3:00 p.m.: Swimming practice
5:00-6:00 p.m.: Swim training

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2024:
08h00-20h00 : Opening of the Openlakes village
08h30-11h30 : Opening of the race secretariat (number collection)

DIMANCHE 22 SEPTEMBRE 2024 : 
08h00-20h00 : Opening of the Openlakes village 
08h30-11h30 : Opening of the race secretariat (number collection)
13h00 : Start MINI-KIDS distance
16h00 : PRIZE GIVING

No time limit to finish the race.

Your bib number?

Once you have arrived at the site, go to the secretariat to get your number. Then, go to the bike park.

OBLIGATORY

It is mandatory to wear the distributed YELLOW cap.

NOT ALLOWED

It is forbidden to run and ride shirtless, you must bring a T-shirt.

HAVE FUN!

Remember, we are here to HAVE FUN and be FINISHED, that's the most important.

When the athlete exits the water, he/she must follow the BLUE cones to the bike park.

When the athlete leaves the bike park, he/she must follow the RED cones to get to the bike track.

When the athlete returns from the bike course, he/she must follow the RED cones to the bike park.

When running, the athlete must follow the GREEN cones.

Swimming - 50m

  • Funnel departure from the banks of the Plate Taille Welcome Centre
  • A 50m lap
  • Wetsuits are allowed if the temperature is below 24.5°C.
  • The swimming suit is mandatory below 16°C
  • No warm-up in the water is allowed before the start.
  • Training authorized only on Friday 20/09 from 14:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 18:00
  • Safety info: in addition to the lifeguards etc. there will be 5 people in the water to assist any athletes under stress.
  • We provide about 20 swimming boards for anyone who wants one for support.



Bike - 2km

  • Non-DRAFTING test
  • 1 lap of 2km along the Centre d'Accueil de la Plate Taille
  • Bike route closed to traffic
  • No refueling


Running - 500m

  • 1 lap of 400m in the Welcome Center of the Plate Taille
  • No supplies



Collection of race numbers

  • Saturday, September 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 22 from 08:30 to 11:30
  • The withdrawal of the number can only be done by the athlete himself.
  • At the time of collection of the number, the athlete MUST be in the presence of his identity card.
  • At the time of registration, the non-licensed athletes will have checked the one-day license (additional registration cost varying according to the distance). If not, the amount will be claimed at the time of withdrawal of the number.
  • ​You need to know your bib number: check your bib number on the registration list before picking yours up.

The athletes awarded are as follows:

  • KIDS : the first 3 girls of the scratch ranking
  • KIDS : the first 3 boys of the scratch ranking
  • MINI-KIDS : the first 3 girls of the scratch ranking
  • MINI-KIDS : the first 3 boys of the scratch ranking
  • TEENS : the first 3 girls of the scratch ranking
  • TEENS : the first 3 boys of the scratch ranking

NOTE: Athletes who do not attend the awards ceremony will not be eligible for their awards and/or prizes.
