• Openlakes Belgium: It is possible to register until 16/09/2025 subject to availability.
  

- What does the registration fee include?

The price you pay includes registration, administration fee, participant gift and finisher medal.

- Am I registered correctly?

Vous pouvez vérifier si vous êtes en ordre d’inscription via la liste des inscrits de l'OPENLAKES Belgium.

- Can I register for 2 different distances?

Yes, it is possible to participate in 2 different events at the same time.

- What if my distance is complete and I am not registered?

You can register on the waiting list. You will be informed if a place becomes available, depending on cancellations.

- I am responsible for a club, is it possible to make a group registration?

Tout club qui souhaite participer avec un minimum de 20 membres, peut bénéficier d'une remise de 10% sur le tarif d'inscription. Pour cela, une inscription groupée est demandée. Pour ce faire, contactez-nous à l'adresse info@openlakes.eu en précisant l'évènement concerné (OPENLAKES Champagne, Belgium, Atlantique, Lyon Métropole).

- I want to change some data in my registration, can I do it?

Yes, it is possible to make changes via the rider area received in the confirmation email.

- Can I change my distance?

All distance transfer requests will be accepted via the e-mail address :  info@openlakes.eu 

• In case of distance downgrade, the difference in registration fee cannot be refunded.
• For any request to increase the distance, the difference in registration fees between the two distances must be paid via bank transfer in order for the registration to be validated.
• Toute demande sera acceptée jusqu'à la veille de la compétition, soit le 18/09/2026.

Changes made on the day of the event are subject to an additional fee, which will depend on the chosen distance.

Si votre dossier n'est pas complet le jour de la compétition, un surplus pourra vous être demandé au moment du retrait de dossard.

- Can I transfer my registration to another athlete?

Yes, you can do it yourself via your runner's area on the Njuko platform.

Attention, this transfer must be done for :

• OPENLAKES Belgium : 19 septembre 2026

Attention : tout transfert de distance/de participant effectué dans les 15 jours précédents la compétition pourra ne pas être pris en compte pour l'impression du nom et prénom sur le dossard. Toutefois, l'enregistrement informatique restera correct. L'athlète devra également s'assurer de la bonne culeur de son bonnet de natation à l'espace litiges.

- Can I be reimbursed if I can't attend?

The refund conditions depend on two factors :

• Did you subscribe to the cancellation package during your registration?
• On which date did you send your refund request?

- What documents do I need to show when I pick up my number?

• If you have a license, you must obligatorily present your identity card as well as your triathlon license.
• If you do not have a license, you must obligatorily present your identity card and subscribe to the one-day insurance.

Le certificat médical n'est plus obligatoire. 
Vous serez invité à compléter un formulaire santé via nos formulaires d’inscription.

Attention : Si votre dossier n'est pas complet le jour de la compétition, un surplus pourra vous être demandé au moment du retrait de dossard.

Who can take part in this event ? 

Everyone can participate as long as they meet the minimum age required for each race.

- Are there time limits for each discipline?

Yes, each race has its own time limits. You can find all the information under the "time limit" tab of the respective race.

- What happens if I exceed the time limit?

If you exceed the time limit for an event, the referees will make the decision not to let you compete in the next event.

- Is the neoprene swimming suit mandatory?

Wearing a wetsuit is mandatory if the water temperature is below 16°C.

Wearing a wetsuit is not mandatory if the water temperature is between 16°C and 23°C.

Above 23°C, wearing a wetsuit is prohibited.

- What is the temperature of the water?

A temperature reading will be taken on the morning of the event. We cannot predict the temperature in advance. The final decision on whether or not to wear a wetsuit will be made on the day of the race.

Est-il possible de louer une combinaison de natation ?

• La combinaison sera disponible le jour de l’épreuve au stand HUUB sur le village exposants.
• Le prix unique de la location est de 45€.
• Une caution de 100€ ainsi que le prêt de votre carte d'identité vous seront demandés au moment du retrait de la combinaison. La caution et votre carte vous seront restituées au retour de la combinaison.
• Les tailles sont différentes si vous êtes un homme ou une femme.
• Il existe des tailles intermédiaires pour que la combinaison soit parfaitement adaptée à votre morphologie.
• En cas d'annulation, le remboursement de la location de combinaison est lié aux conditions reprises dans le pack annulation. Si vous n'avez pas souscrit au pack annulation, vous ne bénéficierez d'aucun remboursement. 
• La réservation d'une combinaison peut se faire jusqu'à épuisement des stocks (stock limité).

- How to download the different courses?

GPX files for the different races can be downloaded by following these steps:

• Go to the Races tab
• Click on your race
• Click on the "Info and route" tab
• Click the "View on OpenRunner" button
• The OpenRunner website page will open
• Click "Download for a GPS"

- How can I become a volunteer?

 Le bac de transition n’est pas obligatoire. Vous pouvez en apporter un si vous le souhaitez, mais ce n’est pas exigé.

- I registered as a group, how can I get my number back?

There are 2 options to get your number via a group:

• The group leader collects the bibs for all group members.
• Each group member picks up their own bib individually.

Consigne – Pour toutes les distances ?

• Oui, une consigne est prévue pour toutes les distances. Merci de prévoir votre propre sac à dos pour y déposer vos effets personnels.
